Eric LeBlanc Scholarship Fund
Eric was the founder of Shediac Bay Cruises Inc., a well-known boat tour operation and popular tourist attraction in Pointe-du-Chêne, New Brunswick. The company was created through his hard work, dedication, and love for the ocean. Eric began the company in 1998 with a converted 40 ft. fishing boat licensed to carry 14 passengers. In 2002, he had a 53 ft custom-built boat, the "Ambassador", which is licensed to carry 65 passengers and 3 crew members.
In Eric's memory, the LeBlanc family created a scholarship available to a Pointe-du-Chêne resident who is a High School graduate student going on to post secondary education. If the course lasts two or more years, the student is also eligible to apply for his or her second year.
