Community Rink

Skating the Night Away
We are proud to say that the rink and rink shed renovation is underway. The shed has been expanded with a new two stall bathroom. We are just waiting to get the sewer connected and complete the inside finish work. Also we have already scheduled a contractor to replace the plywood rink boards with real rink boards and fix the pad so the water is retained on warm winter days. This hopefully will mean more open rink time. Stay tuned.
(Weather permitting)
This is a pretty amazing rink, measuring 100 ft.X 50 ft. with boards, an 8 foot fence and super bright lights.
The rink is open to groups who want to get a hockey game going or to those who just want to skate.
All participants are asked to respect those who want to use the rink.
Courtesy rules. If you are playing hockey and some young kids show up to skate there is nothing wrong for the hockey players to take a break go in the hut and give the younger kids a chance to skate. Be kind:)
PLEASE SCRAPE THE RINK BEFORE GETTING OFF THE ICE
Volunteers watering would really appreciate it:)
Any Questions you can call Christine at (506) 277-2950
