Proposed features and Renderings of the New Park

The Pointe du Chene Recreation and Community Center volunteer committee is proposing the development of the area behind the Recreation Center into a more usable and functional Park.  The committee has been in consultation with an engineering company to assist with the development and layout of some possible features for the new park.

After a number of meetings and discussions some ideas have been laid out and we are now looking to you, the residents to provide feedback in a positive way on what you think of the ideas presented below and add any other positive suggestions.

The park could include:
  • asphalt "Walking Track" that would be cleared during the winter months
  • proper lighting
  • picnic area
  • pickle ball court
  • Community Garden
  • Small stage
  • benches
  • flower beds
  • trees
  • splashpad (already there)
  • rink & Basketball court (already there)
  • playground (already there)
